MOD meets for ideas
Local team captains for the March of Dimes met Thursday to discuss upcoming fundraising plans.
Community Trust Bank’s annual crawfish boil has been set for 4-7 p.m. March 16.
David Darland, walk chair and senior vice president of Community Trust Bank, said 90 percent of the money raised by the bank came from the crawfish boil.
“We’re going to sell plates for $25 and T-shirts for $15,” he said. “Last year we sold somewhere around 3,000 pounds of crawfish and we’re shooting for 4,000 pounds this year.”
