Tech swept by Vandals for first time in history

First-year guard Raheem Appleby (3) will be trying to bounce back this week for Louisiana Tech University after being held scoreless in a 73-64 Western Athletic Conference loss at Idaho late Saturday night. Appleby was held without a point for the first time this season since a 72-69 loss at Southeastern Louisiana in late November.

For Louisiana Tech University’s basketball Bulldogs, the Thomas Assembly Center will be a more than welcomed sight on Thursday night.

A two-game road trip through the west this past weekend proved less than ideal for the Michael White-guided squad.

First, on Thursday night, Tech lost 77-63 at Utah State.
