Charles Anthony Ettredge, age 58, formerly of Pilot Point, Texas passed away on January 23, 2012 at his home in Ruston, Louisianna. Charles was born on October 14, 1953 to Anthony H.”Tony” and Betty J. Ettredge in McKinney, Texas.

Visitation for Charles will be Friday, January 27, 2012, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church in Pilot Point. Burial will follow at Pilot Point Community Cemetery with the Rev. Luther Slay and Rev. Philip Riegel officiating.

Survivors include his son Austin Ettredge of Providence Village; daughter, Katie Pipes of Choudrant, LA; grandchildren, Jack Pipes, Trey Piptes, Taylor Pipes, Ryder Ettredge, and Layla Dietrich; mother, Betty Ettredge of Pilot Point; brothers, Mark Ettrede of Denton, Mike Ettredge of Pilot Point, Blake Ettredge of Whiesboro; sister, Deborah Cagle of Franklin, TN. Charles is preceded in death by his father, A.H. Ettredge and son Daniel Ettredge.

The family has requested donations be made to the American Heart Association in honor of Charles.

Services are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey.
