Junior Auxiliary of Ruston is proud to announce the receipt of a $1,500 grant from the Walmart Foundation’s Local Community Contribution (LCC) program, allowing the nonprofit organization to continue its 30-year tradition of assisting children and families in Lincoln Parish.

“We are excited to receive this grant from Walmart. It’s been a six month process, but it’s great to see our hard work come to fruition. We are all volunteers with jobs and families, not experienced grant writers, so it’s a big accomplishment. Manager Lee Dowdy and Leah Frazier of the Ruston Walmart were very supportive throughout the entire process.” said Jeannie Tinker, public relations chair.
