Pi Kappa Pi Fraternity helps disabled

In 2011, 72 cyclists from various chapters of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity joined together for Push America to bike across the nation to raise awareness of those with disabilities.

In the months to come the members of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity will embark on a journey taking them across the United States.

Push America was a philanthropy project started by the fraternity to provide play units for the severely disabled.

“That is what ‘Push’ originally stood for — Play Units for the Severely Handicapped, before they changed the name,” Kaleb Causey said. “Now we have broadened our range over the past few years.”
