Those who served our country in World War II are known as the “Greatest Generation” from the tremendous courage they showed and sacrifices they made during the infamous war.

Troops fought on two fronts, in Europe and in Japan, to help keep the freedom of American and Allied citizens alike. The whole grueling confrontation started for America 70 years ago today.

On Dec. 7, 1941, the Japanese Empire catapulted America into the war when they surprise attacked Pearl Harbor naval base in Oahu, Hawaii.
