Jessica Lee Collie, of Ruston, and Timothy Ryan Lindsay, of Weston, were married at 4 p.m. Nov. 19 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Jonesboro. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Randy Lee.

Jessica is the daughter of Michael L. and Nancy Collie, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Edna L. Franklin, of Ruston, the late James L. “Bo” Franklin, and Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Lee Collie, of Gilbert.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an A-line, strapless gown of ivory satin featuring beaded lace on the bodice and skirt with a lace up back and split-back skirt, which flowed into a chapel length train. The look was completed with a two-tiered fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lisianthus, green hydrangea and coffee beans in folded green aspidistra leaves bound with a French braid and ivory ribbon. A single dried white rose was tucked inside the bouquet in loving memory of the bride’s maternal grandfather. She also carried a small blue Bible given to her by the groom’s mother.

Bethany Collie, of Ruston, served as the maid of honor. Sara Grace Collie, of Ruston, Carrie Hebert White, of Minden, and Miranda Frederick, of Choudrant, served as bridesmaids. The bridesmaids wore textured satin strapless dresses with a pleated bodice in cocoa brown. They carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet tied with apple green ribbon.

Doyle Sandifer, of Ruston, served as best man. Daniel Lindsay, of Jonesboro, Garin Hatch, of Monroe, and Les Webb, of Clay, served as groomsmen. Ryan Collie, of Ruston, David Kelley, of Ruston, and Brandon McCready, of Natchitoches, served as ushers for the ceremony.
Alaina Frederick, of Choudrant, served as flower girl, and Coleman McCready, of Natchitoches, served as ring bearer.

Other participants in the ceremony were Jalen McCready, of Natchitoches, who served as a candle lighter, and Alexandra Birch, of Ruston, who served as guest book attendant.
Music was provided by Connie Kennedy and Les and Emily Webb. Danette McCready read a scripture selected by the bride and groom.
