Louisiana Tech University is ditching the fan “apathy” that too often was once at the forefront of talk concerning the football program.

Over the years, the critics over a lack of overall support for the Bulldogs when they play at Joe Aillet Stadium has been prevalent.

Full disclosure: I’ve fussed a few times about wondering why in the name of Terry Paxton Bradshaw Tech couldn’t attract a larger fan base in Ruston at times when the program was doing so well, capturing conference championships, making a postseason appearances or having its fair share of nationally-known players (such as the aforementioned “T.B.”).
