The recent addition of the Soviet SA-2 Surface to Air Missile is on permanent display at the Louisiana Military Museum.

Transported from the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola in time for Veterans Day, the SA-2 played a deadly part in the Vietnam Air War and is considered a significant historical piece. Military Museum Director Ernie Stevens said the SA-2 is very rare.

Transportation of the missile and its launcher from Florida was provided by Jason Bullock and Volvo Rents.
