Adults, youth can conserve resources

Whereas educating young people is a great way to encourage the formation of good habits, it is also good for adults to set an example. Among some of the actions adults can take to conserve the area’s resources are the following:

• Put grease in a bag and dispose of it rather than pour it down the sink where it might harden and cause drainage problems;

• Plant trees in places where they will not grow into or break and fall into the path of a power line;

• When leaving the home, do not turn the air conditioner off, but place it on a low setting to save electricity;
