Purcell, Isaacson wed
Jennifer Leigh Purcell, of Kingwood, Texas, and Brandon Christopher Isaacson, of Omaha, Neb., were married at 5 p.m. Oct. 29 at the picturesque gazebo of the San Luis Resort in Galveston, Texas. Jeff Holmes officiated the ceremony.
Jennifer is the daughter of Margaret McKee Hill, of Splendora, Texas, and Bud Purcell, of Westborough, Mass. She is the granddaughter of Albert and Irma McKee, of Ruston, the late Margaret Sugden and the late Ed Purcell. Jennifer’s stepparents are Billy Hill and Cathy Purcell.
Brandon is the son of Tami Quinn, of Loveland, Colo., and Chris Isaacson, of Shenandoah, Iowa. He is the grandson of Dean and Beverly Isaacson, of Red Oak, Iowa; and, Stan and Nancy Harness of New Market, Iowa. Brandon’s stepfather is Colin Quinn
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an Allure Couture ivory organza gown. The strapless fitted bodice was encrusted with Swarovski crystals and pearls.
The ball gown skirt featured organza ruffles and floral accents. The full length veil was edged with crystal beads. The bride carried a bouquet of ivory roses with eggplant calla lily accents.
Heather Purcell Smith, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Chelsea Isaacson, sister of the groom, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were her sisters Sara Purcell and Rachel Purcell and friends Chelsea Sutton, Haley Henning, Micah Walters, Kristen Vale and Jennifer McCammon.
The bridesmaids wore floor length Bordeaux purple gowns of lush satin accented at the waist with a cluster of Swarovski crystals. They carried bouquets of deep red and eggplant calla lilies.
Josh McGargill served as best man. Groomsmen were Levi Heinold, Gary Tomlinson, Brad Mauer, Kurt Kimball, Kevin Smith (brother-in-law of the bride), Ian Isaacson (brother of the groom), Aaron Riley (cousin of the groom) and Patrick Dugan. Craig Franks served as an usher.
Flower girl Chloe Josephson and ring bearer Weston McGargill were also in the wedding party.
A special passage was read by Barbara McKee Andries of Long Beach, Calif., aunt of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the San Luis Resort Grand Ball Room in Galveston, Texas. Daulong’s Mobile Music provided the music.
The bride and groom give special thanks to wedding coordinator Stacy Mitchell of the San Luis Resort, florist Connie Dryden of Island Flowers in Galveston and Sasha of Patty Cakes Bakery in Galveston.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom and his parents on Oct. 28 at The Original Mexican Restaurant in Galveston, Texas. The wedding party and their guests were in attendance.
Following their Caribbean cruise honeymoon, the couple will reside in Kingwood, Texas.
