Bearcats end lengthy stay at James Stadium Friday

RHS was a 42-0 victim of Monroe Ouachita High in a District 2-5A contest on Friday night.

If it seems like Ruston High’s football team has been playing at home for a month, it should.
When they face North DeSoto on Friday, it will be the fifth straight game at James Stadium for the Bearcats.

No surprise, it’s the longest consecutive home stand in school history and the ‘Cats are hoping that another appearance on their own turf will get the team back in the winning column.

Last week, in a District 2-5A opener, RHS stumbled to Top 10 state-ranked Monroe Ouachita 42-0.
