Tech-Hawaii game: ‘circus’ for officiating
And you thought Leo Tolstoy’s “War and Peace” was long?
One day, they might have a sequel to that famous novel based on Saturday night’s Louisiana Tech-Hawaii football game at Joe Aillet Stadium.
Nearly four hours for the entire game, including a now infamous 22-minute delay in the first half in which officials reviewed the number of downs and seemingly everything else that had occurred in college football during the past decade.
It became more of a circus than a football game.
The last time I had seen such bumbling was the “Football Follies” clip of The Three Stooges.
