GRAMBLING — Grambling State University’s early hole in the Southwestern Athletic Conference race got a little deeper after Saturday night.

The Tigers (1-3, 1-2), a preseason favorite to capture the Western Division championship and reach the league’s title game in December, dropped their second straight SWAC contest with a 20-14 loss to Alabama A&M at Robinson Stadium.
