Black Caucus pays visit to GSU

In addition to Richmond, who serves as president of the Caucus, Reps. Rick Gallot, D-Grambling, Willie Hunter, D-Monroe, and Avon Honey, D-Baton Rouge, as well as Sens. C.D. Jones, D-Monroe, and Lydia Jackson, D-Shreveport, attended the town hall-style meeting.

Each Caucus member spoke about work done by their various legislative committees before opening the floor to questions.

With the meeting held at GSU, education was a hot topic. Gallot said the Caucus worked to ensure Grambling State was funded.
