Kim Birch, owner of Townsend House Gifts, presents Domestic Abuse Resistance Team Community Advocate Terrie Queen Autrey with the proceeds of the Eighth Annual Pumpkin Patch For DART. This year's event raised more than $3,500.
"This will help us to offset a small part of the devastating budget cuts recently issued throughout the state," Autrey said. "We appreciate a supporter like Kim."
The Caney Lake Good Sammers decided to “spring” into spring by going to Lincoln Parish Park outside of Ruston on March 20-23. The beautiful dogwoods lined the road that took Kay and Tom Church and Mary and James Dugdale to the campground. When near Ruston, the campers always like to experience the local restaurants. Therefore, they enjoyed burger night at Portico on Wednesday evening.
