Speeding is silent killer
Speeding is not only against the law, but is also dangerous to drivers and all other motorists who share the road with them.
According to state statistics, almost one third of people killed on the highways were involved in speed-related crashes. This means that an estimated 217 people were killed in Louisiana in 2004 in crashes where speed was a factor. Nationally, more than 13,000 people died in 2004 in similar cases.
