Almost everyone you ask (as long as they are above a certain age) can remember exactly what they were doing when they heard that the United States appeared to be under attack on Sept. 11, 2001. And, I’m certainly no different.

I arrived at school, not even a month after starting the 10th grade. I was super excited because in just a few days (my birthday is Sept. 14) I would be having a party. So, that’s where my mind was on that fall morning.
