Some say that football is quickly becoming America’s favorite pastime — that it’s no longer baseball that fans become frenzied about.

Recently an event was held by the Louisiana Tech athletic department, “Pigskins and Pearls,” in an attempt to gain a broader fan base for the university’s football team.

Who was targeted? Women.
