Hello, a “new” Western Athletic Conference football race.

Or, at least, it should be a different type of scramble to the league’s throne room in the season following the Broncos’ move to the Mountain West Conference.

Boise State has been the dominant team in the WAC during this decade, so much that preseason polls could practically be compiled six months ahead of the opening and the Broncos would be penciled in at No. 1.
