This recycling bin on Alabama Avenue, where residents can drop off paper and cardboard products, is available at all hours.

The rules for recycling have changed a bit in Lincoln Parish.

For several months now, local residents have had the opportunity to drop off cardboard, paper items and select hazardous materials for recycling the second Saturday of each month at the Public Works Complex on Tennessee Avenue.

The times and dates are still the same, but the location has changed. From 8:30-11:30 a.m. each second Saturday, residents can drop off items at the Public Works Complex back gate, 2609 Farmerville Street, across from Emerald Trace Apartments.
