Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a Writ of Seizure and Sale issued out of the Honorable Third Judicial District Court in the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed, I have seized and taken into my possession and will offer for sale at public auction, at the principal front door of the Court House in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, LA, between the hours governing judicial sales on WEDNESDAY, September 7, 2011 beginning at 10:00 A.M., the following described property situated in Lincoln Parish, LA, to wit:
Section 1: A 5.54 acre tract being situated in the SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of said Section 1 being more particularly described as beginning at a railroad spike at the SE corner of SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of said Section 1, which said point is just South of the centerline of Mondy Road; run thence North 89 degrees 42 minutes 41 seconds West along the South line of the said “forty” for a distance of 285 feet and to a railroad spike; thence run North 00 degrees 08 minutes 04 seconds West for a distance of 210 feet to a 5/8ths inch rebar; thence run North 89 degrees 42 minutes 41 seconds West for a distance of 346.34 feet and to a 5/8ths inch rebar; thence run North 02 degrees 09 minutes 52 seconds East for a distance of 290.15 feet to a 5/8ths inch rebar; thence run South 89 degrees 42 minutes 41 seconds East for a distance of 619.70 feet, and to a 5/8ths inch rebar on the East line of the SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of said Section 1; thence run South 00 degrees 08 minutes 04 seconds East along the East line of the “forty” for a distance of 500 feet and back to the point of beginning, all pursuant to Plat of Survey by Lester Gary Rainey, PLS, dated June 2, 2003.
Seized as the property of defendants John Henry Hardyway and Carla Fay Holloway Hardyway and will be sold to satisfy writ and all cost. Terms of sale cash with benefit of appraisement. This 29th day of July, 2011.
