Louisiana Tech took the second game of today’s double header, 3-2, over Minnesota to tie the series with the Golden Gophers after dropping the first game, 4-2, in extra innings at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.
The third and final game of the series is set to begin at 11:30 a.m., today with the Bulldogs going for their first series victory of the season over Minnesota.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — After leading 6-0 after five and a half innings of play, Louisiana Tech allowed seven unanswered runs by the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, eventually falling, 7-6, to the Trojans on Tuesday night at Gary Hogan Field.
Tech (10-24) squandered a six-run advantage by allowing UALR (14-20) to plate three runs in the sixth, one in the seventh and three in the eighth to sweep the season series over the Bulldogs.
