Bradshaw named B’s best
Bradshaw had a 7-1 record, 1.13 earned run average and 97 strikeouts in 49 innings as a pitcher and batted .521 with eight home runs and 44 runs driven in during the regular season.
How could those nifty numbers keep him from winning Outstanding Player honors among all players in his class?
Well, they didn’t.
Bradshaw is the recipient of that award, as voted on by members of the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.
He’s also joined by two of his teammates on the first unit: senior catcher Courtney Sharp and junior outfielder/pitcher T.J. Brister.
