Notice is hereby given that the Lincoln Parish Police Jury has declared that the following described property is no longer needed for public purposes:
ITEM 1.Resubdivision of Block 110 of Stubbs Addition to the Town of Ruston containing 1.379 acres (Lot 1) as identified in Survey and Plat recorded in Conveyence Book 1294, page 80 of the records of the Office of Clerk of Court in and for Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, including all buildings and improvements thereon.
Minimum Bid is appraised value: $94,000.00
Notice is further given that the above described property is offered for sale to the highest bidder or bidders submitting sealed bids for the purchase of said property. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope showing opening date on face with sufficient reference to identify bid, giving the item being bid on and referencing item number. Bid Forms may be obtained from the Office of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury, P.O. Box 979, Ruston, Louisiana 71273?0979. Bids will be received in the office of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury, Third Floor, Lincoln Parish Courthouse, Ruston, Louisiana, until 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 1,2011 at which time they will be opened and publicly read. The following special conditions shall prevail:
A. The above property will be sold (as is - where is) based entirely on the personal inspection and/or opinion of the purchaser and without warranty or guarantee of any kind on the actual condition.
B. Bids in an amount less than minimum appraised value stated will not be considered.
C. Successful bidder will be required to demolish or meet all City of Ruston Building Code Requirements for all structures located on property within 180 days of closing.
The Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause.
