Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a Writ of Seizure and Sale issued out of the Honorable Third Judicial District Court in the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed, I have seized and taken into my possession and will offer for sale at public auction, at the principal front door of the Court House in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, LA, between the hours governing judicial sales on WEDNESDAY, June 8, 2011 beginning at 10:00 A.M., the following described property situated in Lincoln Parish, LA, to wit:
That certain piece or portion of ground, together with all rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the state of Louisiana, Parish of Lincoln, town of Ruston, in that part thereof known as lot no. 2 of Hickory Ridge Estates, a subdivision of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, per plat and map of said subdivision on file and of record in conveyance book 197, pages 37-42, of the conveyance records of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, which is situated in the SE 1/4 of SW 1/4, section 1, township 18 North, range 3 West, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, and is more particularly described as follows, to-wit: begin at the northeast corner of the SE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of said section 1 and run West a distance of 30 feet; thence run South 0 degrees 52 minutes West along the West right-of-way line of Janice Drive for a distance of 190 feet to the point of beginning, from said point of beginning, run South 72 degrees 54 minutes West a distance of 426 feet to the center of a creek; thence run South 3 degrees 54 minutes East along said creek for a distance of 120.4 feet: thence run North 72 degrees 54 minutes East a distance of 416 feet to the West right-of-way of the aforementioned Janice Drive; thence run North 0 degrees 52 minutes East along the West right-of-way line of said Janice Drive; to the point of beginning, a distance of 120 feet containing 1.16 acres more or less, together with all improvements and appurtenances thereon and thereunto belonging; subject to restrictions, servitudes right-of-way and outstanding mineral rights of record affecting the property. Being the same property acquired by owners herein in an act dated 10/28/85, COB 557, FOLIO 169.
Seized as the property of defendants Billy J. Johnson and Maurielle Murphy Johnson and will be sold to satisfy writ and all cost. Terms of sale cash with benefit of appraisement. This 29th day of April, 2011.
