Wayne Joseph Guidry Jr., 26, was booked into the Jackson Parish Jail Friday night on a second-degree murder charge. Bond has been set at $500,000.

It was later revealed that Guidry had been a suspect in the case for some time and was under constant surveillance by New Orleans Police all day the day of the arrest.
