“We were getting the field ready for tomorrow (Saturday) and it had just stopped raining,” recalled the Lady Aggies’ third-year head coach.

“Then I looked up in the sky and there was a huge rainbow. When I saw that, I thought, ‘that’s my answer, that’s my sign’.”

Who says there isn’t a “pot of gold” at the end of a rainbow?
On Saturday morning, at approximately 10:45, the Lady Aggies (21-8-2) were hoopin’ and hollerin’ with jubilation over having outlasted the Lady Wildcats 4-3 in nine innings and earning a berth in next weekend’s LHSAA state tournament in Sulphur.
