LEGAL NOTICE
STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF CONSERVATION, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA.
In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, MAY 17, 2011, upon the application of DEVON ENERGY PRODUCTION COMPANY, LP. At such hearing the Commissioner of Conservation will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Hosston 6,975’ Zone, Reservoir A, Hosston 7,850’ Zone, Reservoir A, Hosston 7,900’ Zone, Reservoir A, Hosston 7,950’ Zone, Reservoir A and Hosston 8,100’ Zone, Reservoir A, in the Ruston Field, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
1. To authorize Devon Energy Production Company, LP to designate and utilize a substitute unit well for HOSS 6975 RA SUG at the location shown on the plat submitted with the application.
2. To authorize Devon Energy Production Company, LP to designate and utilize a substitute unit well for HOSS 8100 RA SUG at the location shown on the plat submitted with the application.
3. To establish that the proposed substitute unit wells are necessary to efficiently and economically recover hydrocarbons underlying HOSS 6975 RA SUG and HOSS 8100 RA SUG which cannot be recovered by any existing well on these units.
4. To approve the downhole or wellbore combination of hydrocarbons from the Hosston 6,975’ Zone, Reservoir A, Hosston 7,850’ Zone, Reservoir A, Hosston 7,900’ Zone, Reservoir A, Hosston 7,950’ Zone, Reservoir A and Hosston 8,100’ Zone, Reservoir A, underlying HOSS 6975 RA SUG, HOSS 7850 RA SUG, HOSS 7900 RA SUG, HOSS 7950 RA SUG and HOSS 8100 RA SUG, to the extent that the ownership within each unit is consistent.
5. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent.
The Hosston 6,975’ Zone, Reservoir A was defined in Office of Conservation Order No. 164-O-27, effective May 18, 1993. The Hosston 7,850’ Zone, Reservoir A, Hosston 7,900’ Zone, Reservoir A, Hosston 7,950’ Zone, Reservoir A and Hosston 8,100’ Zone, Reservoir A were defined in Order No. 164-O-29, effective January 10, 1995. Plats are available for inspection in the Office of Conservation in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, Louisiana.
