If recent history is any indication, what has come to be an annual December battle between Louisiana Tech and Northwestern State is sure to be fast-paced and high-scoring.
The two teams with the top offensive teams in the country square off at 8 p.m. tonight inside the Thomas Assembly Center.
Tech (7-2) has the 21st highest scoring offense in the country, averaging 85.4 points per game. However, the last two games have seen the Bulldogs struggle shooting the basketball, but the outcomes of each game was the opposite due to one thing — defense.
When opportunity knocks, it’s sometimes best to open the door.

Online registration is now open for the upcoming 2016 Louisiana Tech Baseball Camps, which features a youth camp and high school showcase over the course of the summer.
