Louisiana Tech’s Athletics Department tabbed last Saturday’s home game as “Operation Sellout” with the goal of selling out all 8,000 seats of the Thomas Assembly Center as the Louisiana Tech men’s basketball team took on the Thundering Herd of Marshall in a Conference USA game that was televised on the CBS Sports Network.
And basketball fans all over the country got a chance to see just how much area fans support Tech athletics.
The Ruston Community Theatre will be putting on their production of “Bye Bye Birdie” at 7 p.m. tonight, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dixie Center for the Arts.
The critically-acclaimed musical will be entertaining for the entire family, featuring local performers from the Ruston Community Theatre.
