=Louisiana Tech will host well-known political reporter John Maginnis for the Louisiana at 200: A Bicentennial Lecture Series at 11 a.m. Friday in Wyly Tower Auditorium.
Maginnis will shed light on the political history of Louisiana in his presentation, “Our Heroes Have Always Been Governors: What Makes Louisiana Politics Different,” through commentary and analyses regarding politics in Louisiana both past and present.
The U-10 boys from the Ruston Soccer Club recently placed first overall in their age division at the 2012 Cabosa Cup tournament held in Shreveport. GRAMBLING — Janet A. Guyden has been appointed dean of the Grambling State University College of Professional and Graduate Studies. She succeeds Rama Tunuguntla, who led the College of Professional Studies from 2009 until retiring June 30.
