Local children’s author hosts book signing at LPL

A book launch party and signing for “I Shall Have a Chicken!” was held from 2-4 p.m. April 16 in the media room at the Lincoln Parish Library.
Other activities included a coloring contest, a guest appearance by “Mother Hen,” door prizes and a taster’s treat of the Hawk’s homemade chicken noodle soup recipe served with crackers. Daisy Rivas was the grand prize winner of the giant Easter basket.
