Just look at what Louisiana Tech and Nevada did by winning last weekend.
They’ve created as good a regular season finale as a Western Athletic Conference fan could ever wish for, almost as if it’s Christmas getting ready to be celebrated on Saturday afternoon at Joe Aillet Stadium.
By defeating San Jose State 45-38 last Saturday, the Bulldogs (5-6, 4-3) put themselves in a position to be bowl eligible.
To do so, they’ll have to get past No. 14 Associated Press nationally ranked Nevada (11-1, 6-1) in Saturday’s 2 p.m. showdown.
