Tech gears for I-Bowl

So those most recent bowl results could very well get mentioned by Tech boss Dooley and NIU commander Kill when they are preparing their teams for a Dec. 28 meeting in the Independence Bowl.

Thanks to the numeracy grant, RES has added several new staff members, including a numeracy coach, who provides professional development for teachers and helps them use researched-based instruction in their math classes.
In addition, Principal Sonja Walker has purchased software designed to identify specific student weaknesses in math.

Band gives blowout concert for charity

The night will celebrate the season with a roster of popular Christmas songs performed by more than 50 local professional, semi-professional and amateur musicians conducted by its co-founder and manager Lawrence Gibbs.
