Rike ready to feel pro draft

It’s the wooden bats, of course, that are used in the professional ranks.
“Hopefully, it will let teams know that I am able to go from the metal bats to the wooden bats and be successful with it,” Rike said. “I know having played in the Jayhawk League last year really helped my confidence a lot and let me know that I have the ability to make that change (from metal to wooden).”

Simsboro School is open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade and Choudrant High is for students in grades 7-12. As a Ruston High School graduate, I never attended a school where students who were able to drive their own vehicles roamed the same areas as students who were still watching cartoons or waiting for puberty to hit.

Ethics bill calls for disclosures

Downs said another amendment was then added that he said probably should not have been.
“I voted for it, but in retrospect, I wish I hadn’t,” Downs said.
The amendment requires financial disclosure not only for all elected officials, but also for all board and commission appointments.
“The basic premise was ‘what’s good for the goose is good for the gander,’” Downs said. “But in hindsight, I think we went overboard.”
Rep. Rick Gallot, D-Grambling, agreed with Downs.
