St. Jude aid pulled through the airways

It is only through the financial generosity of all types of supporters that the hospital is able to treat children from many nations who have been sent to St. Jude by doctors who know their toughest cases will get the best treatment there.
No patients and their families are asked to pay for treatment beyond what their insurance policies will cover. Those without insurance are never asked to pay at all.

Students, guests fly on simulator

Gary Odom, head of the university’s aviation department, added that the Part 142 certification, which Tech received Wednesday, was equally important.
“They go hand in hand,” Odom said. “Getting the certification allows students to use the simulator and can save them as much as $7,000.”
He added that while the simulator was an education tool, it would also be used for research.
