VILLAGE OF CHOUDRANT Feb 6, 2012
The Village of Choudrant Town Council met in regular session. Present were Mayor Bill Sanderson, Alderman Ragan Aswell, Alderman John Croswell, Alderman Ricky Maier and guests. Meeting was called to order at 7:02p.m. by Mayor Sanderson. Mayor Sanderson gave prayer. Motion to approve the agenda was made by Alderman Aswell, seconded by Alderman Croswell. Approved. Motion to approve the minutes of January 2, 2011 was made by Alderman Aswell, seconded by Alderman Croswell. Approved.

Didier, Tripp marry

Renee Ann Didier, of Thibodaux, and Whitney Leo Tripp, of Sarepta, recently exchanged wedding vows. The couple was married in a 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony March 17 at Temple Baptist Church.
The ceremony was officiated by Jason Walsworth.
Renee is the daughter of Mary T. Dupre, of Thibodaux.
She is the granddaughter of the late Max Dupre and Mary Ruth Dupre, of Thibodaux, and the late Frieda Didier and the late Pearce Didier.

Haik, Smtih exchange vows

Lillian Elaine Haik and Dr. Gregory Wayne Smith were united in marriage on March 17, 2012 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Monroe. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dale M. Farley.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Haik Jr. of Calhoun. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Audrey Andrieu and the late Mr. Thomas J. Andrieu, and Mrs. Ethel Haik and the late Mr. Raymond E. Haik Sr.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. G. Wayne Smith of Ruston. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William “Jack” Wooden, and Dr. and Mrs. W. Tracy Smith.
