VILLAGE OF CHOUDRANT COUNCIL
REGULAR MEETING
March 7, 2016
The Village of Choudrant Town Council met in regular session. Present were Mayor Bill Sanderson, Alderman Philip Johnson, Alderman Ricky Maier, Alderman Brandon Williams and guests.
Mayor Sanderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. and offered prayer.
Motion to approve the agenda was made by Alderman Williams, seconded by Alderman Johnson. Approved.
Motion to approve the minutes of January 4, 2016, was made by Alderman Williams, seconded by Alderman Maier. Approved.

The Grambling City Council will hold a Public Hearing Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 5:45 p.m. the Public Hearing at Grambling City Hall & Community Center, 127 King Street, Grambling, Louisiana for the purpose of the following:
ANORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAMBLING TO DECLARE PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF SAID SURPLUS PROPERTY
1982 Fire Truck-- The minimum purchase price for the sale of this property shall be $15,000.
The property may be inspected at the Grambling Fire Department between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

Woodards celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Paul and Judy Woodard, of Simsboro, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday. The couple was married April 8, 1966 at The First Methodist Church, of West Monroe. They lived in Lincoln Parish all but two years of their marriage.

Both were employed by The Lincoln Parish School Board.
