SEALED PROPOSALS FOR:
TIGER DRIVE DRAINAGE will be received by the LINCOLN PARISH SCHOOL BOARD, Ruston, Louisiana, in the Board Meeting Room of the Lincoln Parish School Board office, 410 South Farmerville Street, Ruston, Louisiana, until 2:00 P.M., local time, on Thursday, April 28, 2016.
No proposals will be received after this hour or date. On this date and specified time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Sealed bids for the following project will be received by the Purchasing Department of the City of Ruston, Louisiana, located at Ruston Public Works Complex, Public Works Administration Building, 701 East Tennessee Avenue, Ruston, Louisiana 71270, either by mail or hand delivery, no later than 10:00 A.M. local time on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the office of the Purchasing Agent. Bids received after the 10:00 A.M. deadline will be returned via certified mail to the bidder unopened.

Couple exchanges vows in Ruston

Martha Elizabeth Hartwell, of Dubach, and Timothy Michael Tate, of Keithville, were united in holy matrimony at 6 p.m. Saturday in Ruston.

The double ring ceremony was officiated by Jim Booth.

The bride is the daughter of David and JoAnn Hartwell, of Dubach.

She is the granddaughter of Carol Hartwell, of Dubach, and the late Alan Hartwell, JoAnn Castine, of Dubach, and the late Rene Castine Sr., and the great-granddaughter of Maxine Stoelting, of Ruston.

The groom is the son of Michael and Saundra Tate, of Keithville.

Davis, Hearn to exchange vows

Bill and Laura Davis, of Ruston, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jordan Elizabeth Davis to Brandon Stewart Hearn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Taylor, of Boyce, and Elver Davis and the late Morris Davis, of Chesnut Mountain, Georgia.

Jordan is a 2012 graduate of Cedar Creek School and is attending Louisiana Tech University.
She is currently employed as a children’s intern at Temple Baptist Church.
