NOTICE OF PROPOSED ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Grambling shall meet on the 5th day of June, 2014 at 5:30 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Grambling, LA, to consider the adoption of the following ordinance.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAMBLING TO DECLARE PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF SAID SURPLUS PROPERTY.
Pursuant to a motion held at the Board of Aldermen Meeting held on May 1, 2014, the following property was deemed to be surplus property as such property is no longer needed for public purposes and that same should be sold:

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY TO ENTER INTO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HUNT, GUILLOT & ASSOCIATES, LLC FOR SERVICES RELATING TO DISPOSITION OF POWER PLANT ASSETS
WHEREAS, the City no longer operates the Steam Electric Generating Power Plant located at 1801 McDonald Street, Ruston, Louisiana (the “Power Plant”); and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to maximize the salvage value of the machinery and equipment in the Power Plant (collectively the “Plant Assets'); and,

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT THE RUSTON REGIONAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS, Act 451 of the 1989 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature authorized the financing of certain airport improvements at the Ruston Regional Airport (“RRA”) from funds appropriated from the Transportation Trust Fund; and,

WHEREAS, Section 4-38 of Chapter 4 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ruston (the “Code”), provides that it shall be the duty of the Board of Aldermen to appoint an administrative agency to administer and enforce the regulations prescribed in Chapter 4 of the Code; and,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RUSTON, LOUISIANA:
1. The Board of Aldermen have approved during the period of October 1, 2013, through March 31, 2014, amendments to the annual Budget of Revenues and Expenditures of the City (the "Budget") as reflected in the Budget Summary attached hereto.

ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF A SERVITUDE OF PASSAGE
WHEREAS, the City of Ruston (the “City”) owns a twenty acre tract of land (the “City Property”) located on McDonald Avenue in the City on which the City formerly operated its electric generating plant, which was acquired by the City by Deed dated May 7, 1958, of record in Conveyance Book 61, page 411, as corrected by Correction Deed dated December 18, 1961, of record in Conveyance Book 86, page 133, of the records of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
