RPAR FOCUS – Kenneth Hayes

Coach, RPAR Summer Basketball League Memphis Grizzlies (7-9 division)

1-What is the most enjoyable thing you like about coaching?
It allows me to combine two of my favorite things: kids and playing sports.
2-Who were your favorite professional sports teams while growing up?
Chicago Bulls, San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Braves.
3-Do you have a saying or motto that you live your life by?
If you can’t beat ‘em, then join ‘em.
4-List five words that best describe you.
Affectionate, funny, energetic, enthusiastic and interesting companion.
5-Name one rule change that needs to be made in any of the major sports and why.
No passing into the backcourt when passing from out of bounds. This is just insane. You should be able to get the ball into half court without heaving it deep across the time line (half court). If you cannot get it in, you deserve to have it turned over.

I’ve got it - I’ll write about something that has bugged the daylights out of me for years; squirrels that rob my bird feeders despite everything I’ve tried to keep them away.
