Many aided after derailment

With more than 20 trains coming through the Ruston area on a daily basis, last week’s train derailment has put officials in a better place to handle emergency situations such as this.
Although the train derailed in a rural area, Lincoln Parish Sheriff Mike Stone said that if the incident can happen there, it could very well happen in downtown Ruston.

I’m really not a huge fan of television these days. Due to the strong inappropriate messages and vulgarity frequently seen and heard, I generally switch to programming that is decent according to my values.
Occasionally I do enjoy watching old movies on TCM, laughing at a few old corny sitcoms on TV Land, and I do regularly view local and national news and weather broadcasts. Periodically in my changing channels I find something of interest on a local network.

Moore, Byron.jpg

Question: I am nearly 30 years old. I am still paying off student loans, two car notes and some credit card debt. However, I think I have enough money to put toward investments. I am wondering whether I should buy individual stocks or a mutual fund. Which would you advise?

Answer: Neither. Imagine your financial life as a business. You have certain “earnings items,” such as bank accounts, retirement accounts, mutual funds, etc. You also have several “expense items,” such as your student loans, car notes, credit cards, etc.
