Grambling rates No. 6 in ‘Cup’ race

GRAMBLING — Grambling State University’s athletics program has finished in the middle of the pack for the 2010-11 Southwestern Athletic Conference season.
In the annual rankings for the “Commissioner’s Cup” in the 10-member league, the Lincoln Parish school placed No. 6.

Bulldogs crack Top 100 on national magazine list

If a national magazine preseason poll supplies a measuring stick, Louisiana Tech University will rank among the Top 100 football programs in the country for the upcoming season.
The Bulldogs are ranked No. 93 in an early season poll announced this weekend by Sporting News magazine.

Shortly thereafter, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Purchasing Agent’s office. Bids received after the 2:00 P.M. deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened.
