Woodward selected for Leadership Institute

The Louisiana Supreme Court recently announced the inaugural class of the Louisiana Judicial Leadership Institute. Judge Cynthia T. Woodard, of the Third Judicial District Court, is one of the thirty-six judges selected to participate in the Leadership Institute.

Excited about widow’s banquet, baby gifts

I’m really looking forward to the widow’s banquet, which our church has every spring. As I’ve told you, each widow has her own deacon, who picks her up for a four-hour event with a luncheon, photos taken like you get with your date at the prom, a gift for each lady and entertainment.
We’re going to a different country club this year in the Fairview suburb. It’s nice having members from different sections of the city who can host events at their club, because each venue is unique in its on way.
