Downtown Delights

Event raises estimated $8,000

Two nonprofit groups were benefited Tuesday as area residents sampled a variety of food from local restaurants.
Downtown Delights is an annual event put on by The Russ Town Society in which area restaurants provided samples of food for attendees.
Russ Town Society, a group devoted to raising money for the cultural and historical preservation of Ruston, presented Downtown Delights at the Ruston Civic Center to support the Louisiana Military Museum and the Dixie Center for the Arts.
