Free forestry workshop planned in Bryan Park

Trail walk, tree identification on the agenda

Downsville Area Enrichment Association and Louisiana Tech University are partnering with the Village of Downsville in a free community forestry workshop for the public from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday in Bryan Park at 4644 Highway 151 in Downsville.
Forestry seminars and hands-on activities will include a trail walk and tree identification, using a GPS, how to geocache, non-native species removal and planting trees for reforestation.
