Cornerstone Baptist and pastor Gerald Nelson have merged with Grace Bible Baptist Church of Ruston. Services will now be held at 216 Rough Edge Road.

Baptist Church
The eighth annual women’s conference will be held at 9 a.m. Feb. 12 at Countyline Baptist Church. Registration will be from 8 – 9 a.m. before the conference begins.
A musical will be presented by Countyline Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 29. Special guests will be Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Choir and St. Peter Baptist Church Choir.
The 27th Matron’s Anniversary will be held at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at Countyline Baptist Church.

Sunday Bible classes are held at 9:30 a.m. with worship services at 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday services are at 7 p.m. The church also sponsors the Christian Student Center supporting area university students while away from their homes.
The Ruston church of Christ furnishes a meal every other Tuesday night at 7 p.m. to our college students before the weekly devotional held at the Christian Student Center. We hold midweek Bible study at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Ladies Bible Class at 10 a.m. on Thursdays. Please attend and hear an inspiring sermon from God’s Word by our new minister, Bro. Jim Davis.

Church of the Redeemer
Church of the Redeemer services are at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with coffee hour between the two services. Sunday school classes start at 9:15 a.m. September-May. Adult class continues through the summer at 9:15 a.m.

Crosspoint

South Parkway
A meeting will be held today for all van drivers and those interested in the van ministry from 10:40-10:55 a.m. in the Visitor/Volunteer Room. 
Girlfriends will meet at 5 p.m. Jan. 16. This month’s theme is “Mission: Impossible” with Lucy Douglas speaking on a woman’s healthy lifestyle. Childcare is available if reservations are made by Friday. A light dinner will be served.
Sunday is Teen Challenge Day during both the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services. The Teen Challenge Choir will minister plus testimonies from students and a word from Director Gary Bentley.

John Knox

Ruston
The Scripture lessons and sermon are from Isaiah 60:1-6 and Matthew 2:1-12. Communion will be celebrated during worship.
At the close of worship the annual congregational meeting will be held to hear the end of the year session committee’s reports and receive the 2011 budget.  Following the meeting there will be a coffee fellowship. Members of the Robin Dickens Circle will meet at 6 p.m.
A.C.T. hosts their January luncheon on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. 
The STAIR reading program at Ruston Elementary School is on Tuesday and Thursday at 1 p.m.  The choir will rehearse on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
