Elisa Michele Draper passed away on Nov. 20, 2010. Elisa was a cherished daughter and sister, devoted and loving wife and mother, and beloved teacher and colleague. She was born March 3, 1965 to Michael G. Ricca (deceased) and Jean Rini (formerly LaRue), of Ruston. She is survived by her husband Robert S. Draper, her children Michael W. and William X Draper; her mother, Jean Rini; her sisters Elizabeth Huete and Nancy Meyerowitz; and her brothers Victor, Anthony and Zachary Rini and Michael Ricca.
Grambling Middle School has released the names of the students who achieved honor roll status for the second six weeks reporting period. Students are listed by academic achievement (minimum 3.0 grade point average) and grade level.

Funeral services for Rev. Jerry L. Adkins, age 79, of Ruston will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Ruston. Dr. Andrew Johnson, Dr. Chris Craig, and Dr. Rick Byargeon will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Rev. Adkins was born in Red River Parish, LA on April 20, 1931 and died in Ruston, LA on November 28, 2010. He graduated from Mississippi College and received his master’s at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX . Rev.
