Techsters want to avoid splits

They began a road trip westward by losing at Nevada 64-57, then winning at Utah State 90-82 in overtime.
Then last weekend, in Ruston, the Techsters lost to Fresno State 78-53 before coming back to defeat San Jose State 70-53.
“We need to start winning the first game of these series, too,” Long said.
That’s what he and his team are hoping to do this weekend when they face a vintage, tough WAC road trip.
Tech will play at Idaho tonight (8 p.m.) and then at Boise State on Sunday afternoon (2 p.m.,).

So many choices, so little time, and so little money makes Susie Q. Bookbender a little less navigationally confident. Pre-med, ed, library sci or poli-sci may be the ingredients to the good life, but what does a student do when their avenue to Xanadu isn’t listed? I’m speaking of the world of whammies that steal your dough and mountain climbers that fall off K-2 because you guessed the wrong price of an appliance. Enter the aspiring college student who wants more than anything to receive his bachelor’s...in game show hosting.

International Scholarship Dinner

“It’s a great evening to get to see the beautiful costumes and the effort the students put into the event,” Chakraborty said.
The event is always a sell-out.
The dinner is held to raise scholarship money for international students who are not eligible for financial aid. Those who wish to attend the event may want to purchase tickets well in advance.
“We always sell out three or four days before the event,” Chakraborty said.
